Privacy Summary
Mystic stores your astrology profile, preferences, saved partners, tarot history, streaks, and subscription status primarily on your device. Some horoscope, tarot, compatibility, and chart interpretation features may communicate with Darkmaster's Pottery services to generate or refresh app content.
Information You Provide
Mystic may store information you enter in the app, including birth date, birth time, birth location, zodiac sign, partner profiles, tarot questions, preferences, notification settings, and subscription state.
How Mystic Uses Data
- To calculate and display horoscope, natal chart, compatibility, moon phase, and tarot experiences
- To remember your profile, saved partners, streaks, widgets, and app preferences
- To provide subscription-gated Mystic Pro features through Apple StoreKit
- To improve reliability, protect the service, and troubleshoot app functionality
Astrology and Interpretation Services
Some features may send the minimum required astrology context to Darkmaster's Pottery services to generate personalized readings or structured responses. Payment details are handled by Apple. We do not sell personal data or use advertising SDKs.
On-Device and Widget Data
Mystic uses local storage and an App Group to share selected horoscope, moon, rating, and widget data between the main app and the WidgetKit extension. This keeps Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets useful without requiring account creation.
Third-Party Services
Apple App Store
Purchases, trials, subscription renewals, refunds, and cancellation management are processed by Apple through StoreKit and App Store account settings.
Your Choices
- You can edit profile details and partner profiles inside the app
- You can disable notifications in the app or in iOS Settings
- You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
- You can delete the app to remove locally stored Mystic data from your device
Data Security
Device-stored data is protected by iOS security features. Network communication, where required, uses HTTPS. No security method is perfect, but Mystic is designed to collect and transmit only what is needed for app functionality.
Children's Privacy
Mystic is not intended to collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review the request.
